A Viva Engage client is looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Salary: 5.500.000 COP per Month +150,000 COP stipend + All Colombian labor law benefits

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium (choose/add what applies to your stack).
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Solid experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Good understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases for test data setup and validation.

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, or API applications.
• Review product requirements and technical design documents to create comprehensive, well-structured, and efficient test plans and test cases.
• Integrate automated test suites into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• isolate, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira. Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Validate backend services and APIs for performance, security, and functionality.
